Letter from Scott Burks

I’m sitting here today reflecting and anticipating.

Reflecting on decades of commitment…
and anticipating another season of God showing up and doing what God does.

Bringing life.
Changing the way.
Establishing truth.
Giving hope.
Letting His light shine so bright it can’t be ignored.

I’m anticipating Him.

I’m believing in Him and His perfect plan.

We are on the other side of major ministry in Asia, Africa, and North America.

And now… we’re standing on the edge.

Australia is in front of us.
Central America is opening up.

And I’m sitting here in a place of total dependence on God… and anticipation.

I’ll be honest—this still blows me away.

God is using The Be.Love. Project to truly advance the Gospel and make disciples.

He is equipping leaders.

He is empowering the NOW generation.

Those four objectives He gave me…

They’re not just words anymore.

They’re happening.

And there are names attached to this.

Virgal in Taiwan.
Leo in Tagaytay.
Eli in General Santos.
David in Kenya.
Daisy in Nairobi.
Landon and Rommy in the United States.

Real people.
Real lives.

I just finished a training with leaders in three nations.

They leaned in.
They listened.
They learned.

And now—they’re taking action.

As I’m writing this, leaders in the Philippines and Kenya are asleep.

They just finished their day learning how Jesus lived—focused, intentional, and resilient.

We were together on Zoom.

Different places. Same mission.

It was powerful.

And in just a few weeks…

We will launch our very first Camp Be.Love. here in Texas.

Several hundred teenagers will get in buses and cars and make their way to camp.

Think about that.

Really think about it.

Many will meet Jesus.
Many will be encouraged.
Some will experience a moment that will change their lives forever.

This is going to happen.

Let that sink in.

Students who were heading toward an eternity separated from God…

are going to encounter Jesus.

And live forever.

And it’s not just happening in person.

God is multiplying this work in ways I didn’t expect.

A simple tool I built for myself—John316.today—is now being used all over the world.

People in many places are using it to share their faith and point others to God’s plan for eternal life.

Our resources are moving further than we can track.

SMPL—the youth ministry book—is being read and used as curriculum in places I don’t even know about.

Launch—the Bible study for graduating seniors—is being used more than ever this year.

Our app is global.

Downloads on YMNow are happening in countries I haven’t even been to.

I’m hearing stories from places I didn’t plan for.

God is multiplying.

This is amazing.

And I wanted you to hear it from me…

Because you’re part of it.

Thank you for believing.

Thank you for praying.

Thank you for stepping in.

All of this… is for the glory of God.

God is the ONE.

He is holding Be.Love. together.

This is not built on a big organization or a system.

This is His.

He is the One doing this.

We are simply walking in obedience to what He has called us to do.

The Great Commission.

The life of Jesus.

The model Jesus gave us—that is the Way.

As it says in John 14:6, He is the way, the truth, and the life.
In John 15:5, apart from Him we can do nothing.


And in John 3:16, we are reminded why this all matters—because God so loved the world.

I’m sitting here anticipating what God is about to do next.

And I’m grateful we’re in this together.
